Dr. Kovess-Masfety is the President of the WPA Section on Epidemiology and Public Health. She is also a guest Professor at the Mailman School of Public Health in Columbia University, New York USA and Associate Professor at the University of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.
She is the author of various international publications and the editor of an international review of psychiatric epidemiology (SPPE). Her fields of interest have been: psychiatric epidemiology methodology, urban/rural comparisons, services research, international and European comparisons, among them gender and school children mental health.
