Professor of Psychiatry, WPA Board Member (Russia)
Peter V. Morozov, most prominent professor of psychiatry from Russia, will discuss about his areas of expertise in Pre Congress Forum and Congress Symposiums.
Peter V. Morozov is professor at Russian National Medical Research University. He received his medical degree from Russian National Medical Research University in 1970, completed post- graduate training in psychiatry and received Ph.D. in 1977 at the same university.
Currently, he is World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Zone Representative for Eastern Europe, Ambassador in Russia at European College of Neuropsychopharmacology and Member of the Committee of Experts on developing a Council of Europe mental health reference tool (SP-MNH).
Previously served as Senior Medical Officer to World Health Organization, Division of Mental Health (biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology), member of the Executive Committee of European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP), member of the Curatorium of Psychiatrists of DANUBE countries, Chairman of International Section of the Federation of Societies of Psychiatrists of CIS.
Prof. Morozov is a author of more than 100 publications and 4 books, among them: “Research on the Viral Hypothesis of Mental Disorders” (Karger), “Viruses, Immunity and Mental Health” (Plenum). His research interests focus on neuropsychopharmacology.
