Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, WPA Former Secretary for Finances (Israel)
Prof. Sam Tyano, one of the world’s most prominent experts of child and adolescent psychiatry, will discuss about his areas of expertise in Press Conference and Congress Symposiums.
Prof. Sam Tyano graduated Medicine at Strasbourg University, France. Currently he is a professor Emeritus at the Tel Aviv University, School of Medicine and visiting Professor in Lille and Strasbourg Universities in France. He is also a Honorary President of the Israeli Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Association, previous President of the National council for Mental Health, previous member of the WPA Executive Committee, past WPA Secretary for Finances, and past Vice –President of International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions.
His research interests include infant psychiatry, adolescent suicide, ADHD, pehnomenom of filicide and others.
